Book 3 - Life in Christ: Walking with God
LIVE Christian Morality
(12 Sessions)
It’s fall again, and we’re getting ready for another season of Why Catholic? LIVE: Christian Morality looks at biblical justice and presents the principals of Catholic social teaching. The first six sessions center on the Beatitudes, on our freedom and responsibility, conscience, virtues, moral law, sin, mercy, grace, and the Church. The second six sessions focus on the implications of the Ten Commandments.
Whether you participated last year or not, please join us as we continue our journey through the Catechism. We’ll be having signups the weekends of Sept. 17-18 and Sept. 24- 25. Then we’ll be meeting one night a week to grow in our Faith as we explore the topics.
Please contact Deacon Matt McLaughlin at 202-0233, Gary Micka at 337-0131, or Chad Lewis at 465-3654 with any questions. Or you can email whycatholic@stpatsrolla.org.
Topics for the fall session and spring sessions, correspond to Part Three of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Part Three of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.
