Tues, May 28, MASS as scheduled, Confession Cancelled

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION from FR DAVE:
As of 9am this morning I am on anti-biotics and prednisone....
Out of a super-abundance of caution (and it truly pains me to do this, but I would hate to not make it through Mass)
4:45-5:45pm Confessions today (TUES May 28) are CANCELLED...
HOWEVER
the 5:00pm Rosary group is encouraged to pray the rosary, and we WILL still have
Daily Mass at 6:00pm in the CHURCH
(can we make sure we have a sacristan if possible?? Ted Roth, or Chris Vierrether, or Connie Shanks, or another sacristan perhaps?)

A Message from Bishop McNight

Updated text (read last weekend at all masses, and to be published in this weekend's bulletins)

We continue to pray for all who are impacted by the natural disasters this year, both the tornadoes that hit Cole, Hickory, Miller and Randolph counties this past week, and the flooding of major rivers in our Diocese. Counties impacted by that flooding include Boone, Callaway, Camden, Chariton, Clark, Cole, Gasconade, Howard, Lewis, Linn, Maries, Marion, Miller, Moniteau, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Osage, Pettis, Phelps, Perry, Pike, Ralls, Randolph and Saline.

Catholic Charities of Central and Northern Missouri, an agency of our Diocese, is working with other agencies to ensure a coordinated and integrated network of support is provided to those affected. If you or your parish group would like to volunteer, please contact United Way at 2-1-1. It is serving as the central clearinghouse to match immediate needs with resources.
