Submitted by Admin on Mon, 2010-08-23 11:53St. Patrick Adult Choir is looking for new members as we get ready to celebrate the Advent and Christmas seasons. Sopranos and basses are especially in high demand. Ability to read music is not a requirement, but your willingness to make a commitment to attend rehearsals is. Please give prayerful consideration to sharing your God-given talent as a choir member. The adult choir meets every Thursday at 7 PM in the church. For more information, contact Liz Glissman at 578-8918.
Why Catholic program to start up this Fall
Submitted by Admin on Mon, 2010-08-23 11:50It’s fall again, and we’re getting ready for another season of Why Catholic? This year, we’ll be exploring how God shows his love for us through the Liturgy and the Sacraments. You may have learned something in grade school or PSR, but do you really have an adult appreciation for how God reveals himself to us?
Whether you participated last year or not, please join us as we continue our journey through the Catechism. We’ll be having signups the weekends of Sept. 18-19 and Sept. 25- 26. Then we’ll be meeting one night a week to grow in our Faith as we explore the below topics.
Please contact Deacon Matt McLaughlin at 202-0233, Gary Micka at 337-0131, or Chad Lewis at 465-3654 with any questions. Or you can email whycatholic@stpatsrolla.org.
Topics for the fall session and spring sessions, correspond to Part Two of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and Part Two of the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.

Come support the RCIA Program!
Submitted by Admin on Wed, 2010-08-18 15:16Calling All Parishioners!
In an effort to better connect the RCIA candidates and catechumens to the parish, we are asking parishioners to please consider sponsoring a Sunday Class. Parishioners would bring breakfast and snack foods, introduce yourself to the class and give your faith journey story to us and then join us for the class to help us prepare the students to receive the sacraments of initiation on Holy Saturday.
To sponsor a Sunday Class or to ask questions about sponsoring, please call Chad at 573- 465-3654.
